Not long after Brendan and I started our photoblog (which, sadly, is now defunct) I bought a little point-and-shoot camera to keep in my purse. Unfortunately, life in my purse was too rough for that camera and the battery door broke. Since I know I'll want to use it while we're traveling in a couple of weeks, I bought a replacement door on eBay and found a how-to video on YouTube showing me how to fix it. Hooray! I saved my little camera and I'm so happy to have it back!
And that is the best thing that happened to me this week, because I am the most boring person on the planet.
