Good stuff, v. 2

Spring break started this weekend, so I have spent the last day and a half doing all the fun things I've been putting off all quarter. Because of that, I've found lots of great stuff online. Yay!

If I ever move back to the gloomy Midwest, I'm buying myself some bright blue Wellies to deal with the depressing weather. (via Mighty Goods)

Adam has a new niece, so I'm making this blanket in baby-friendly colors to send as a gift. That is, if I actually finish a project for once in my life.

I love Design*Sponge, and their Before & After furniture/room/etc. makeovers are one of my most favorite things. Just look at this rocking chair. Doesn't that make you want to go to a thrift store and find a hidden gem to fix up?

Look at these super cute cake stands! This one is my favorite:

Lastly, here are some books just waiting for me (on my Nook!) to read this week:
Freedom by Jonathan Franzen
St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves by Karen Russell (I'm also hoping to get my hands on her new book Swamplandia! at some point)
Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart

Have you read any of them? Have any suggestions?

Yay! Not being in school is awesome.

Love those boots!! I've been wanting to read Freedom, so let me know how it is! I just started The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by
Rebecca Skloot. Non-fiction, but so good!
