The Trio's Day Off

This morning was not a very nice morning. I woke up to gray skies and went in to the pool to guard swim team practice. Kurt came back and Scott showed up, and it started to sprinkle--no big deal, you're already wet in a pool. But once the old ladies water aerobics decided to call it quits, it started raining harder and we decided to close the pool until 4. We sat around deciding what to do for the afternoon and then headed for the mall.
We went to the shoe store, where Kurtis looked for some Lance Armstrong rubberbands for his wrists. They were sold out. Here we are, celebratingWe went to the Gap and American Eagle, and I have found that I like shopping with Kurtis. Scott, unfortunately, doesn't have the patience for us, so we decided to go feed him some lunch. Chi-Chi's, to be exact. And we decided we'd tell them it was his birthday. Kurtis told the waitress that Scott's parents were out of town so we'd decided to take him out to celebrate. Some highlights of the meal:
Scott: [in front of the waitress] yep, my parents are on out of town
Loren: where did they go?
Scott: uh...Mexico...
Kurtis: so that's why we brought you to Chi-Chi's?
also...
Kurtis: [as he pulls a little flag out of his enchilada...the flag is obviously Mexican, as we're at Chi-Chi's.] What is this thing? A Cuban flag?

Needless to say, we had a good time. On the way home, we sang Queen, Guns 'n Roses, and...Jewel. Good times. I love you guys.
